2000 senesinde çıkan albüm “Back For The First Time”da “Incognegro” albümündeki çalışmalarının bazılarına yeniden yer veren Ludacris, listelerde 4 numara olmayı başardı. Albümden çıkan single’lardan “Southern Hospitality” ve “What’s Your Fantasy” ile rap dünyasına kendini kabul ettiren sanatçı, 3. albümünü 2001 yılında yayınladı.

2001 yılında gelen 3. albüm “Word Of Mouf” ile 2003 Grammy’lerine “En iyi Rap Albümü” olarak aday gösterilen Ludacris, aynı sene, filminde de oynadığı “2 Fast 2 Furious” soundtrack’i için yaptığı “Act A Fool” single’ını çıkarttı.

2003 Ekim ayında 4. albümü “Chicken & Beer”ı çıkartan Ludacris, Amerika listelerinde 1 numara olurken, albümden çıkan Kanye West ile ortak çalışması “Stand Up” single’ı da listelerde 1 numara olmayı başardı.

2004 senesinde gelen 5. stüdyo albümü “The Red Light District” ile 2 kez platin plak alan Ludacris, bu albümle listelerde 1 numara oldu. Albümde Nas, DJ Quik ve DMX gibi sanatçılarla çalışan Ludacris, aynı sene lisedeki çocukların yaratıcılık gücünü arttırmak amacıyla ‘The Ludacris Foundation’ı kurdu.

İlk Grammy’sini Usher ve Lil Jon ile ortak çalışması “Yeah” ile 2005 yılında alan Ludacris, 2006 senesinde 6. stüdyo albümü “Release Therapy”i piyasaya çıkarttı. Bu albümle ilk haftada 309,000 satarak Amerika listelerinde 1 numara oldu.

Ludacris bir sonraki albümünün 2007 yılında çıkacağını ve albümün isminin “Theater Of The Mind” olacağını belirtiyor.
